NCS Athletes Honored in Winter Wash Post All-Met

Three NCS athletes from the basketball, swimming, and track and field teams have been recognized by the Washington Post for their outstanding winter performances.

 

Marta Sniezek ’15 made the 2013-2014 All-Met First Team in basketball. Also recognized in Honorable Mentions were: Morgan Johnson ’14 in swimming and diving and Jeryne Fish ’15 in track and field.

 

For All-Met recognition, coaches from more than 200 schools in the Washington area are invited to nominate top athletes from their sports. Selections are made by the Post’s high school sports staff.

 

The All-Met special section of the Washington Post, published Sunday, April 6, also noted that Isabella Alarie ’16 and Marta Sniezek ’15 were named to the ISL AA all-league basketball team; all-league teams are chosen by area coaches. We want to also recognize Morgan Johnson ’14, who was named to the ISL all-league swimming team.
