Get Ready for the NCS Art Showdown!

The NCS Art Show, showcasing work by students from all divisions, kicks off with an opening reception in on Monday, May 19, 3:00-6:00 pm. Student art will be on display on the 3rd floor of Whitby in the studios, along the hallways of the Middle School in Woodley North, and in the Middle School art room in Woodley North 103.

This year the Art Department is holding a scavenger hunt, the NCS Art Showdown, with art-related prizes! The hunt’s challenge is to find 20 details of artwork featured in the show. Participants will receive a sheet with photos of the details, then must find the corresponding artwork and write down the artist’s name. Completed forms can be returned to any art teacher by the close of the show on Friday, May 23.

There will be one prize for each division (Lower, Middle, and Upper) and one for an adult, chosen by drawing from the entries for that category. Everyone is invited to play – and enjoy the wonderful work by our students!
