Thanks to the generosity and far-sightedness of NCS families, alumnae and friends of NCS, the campaign is moving forward and has raised over $26M towards the $50M goal.  Please consider a gift that helps build an ever-widening community of women who are not only educated for the world, but also capable of changing it. Celebrating Founders and Looking Ahead to Procter Hall
In early November, more than 200 members of the NCS community gathered for the dedication of the newly-renovated Founders Hall (click here for video highlights). Head of School Kathleen O’Neill Jamieson said, “This project is all the more noteworthy because it was completed without incurring one cent of debt, and because it follows on the opening of a renovated Scott Hall just 18 months ago.” She thanked the community for its generous support, and congratulated the members of the Educating Women for the World Campaign Committee on the results of their leadership and work.

Some guests remarked on the contrast between the beautifully-refurbished facility and its neighbor down the hall, 50-year old Procter Hall. Procter is slated for a renovation that will include a library that will be the centerpiece of the Woodley North Campus, a performing arts space and Middle School commons, assembly room, administrative offices, and a redesigned courtyard. The realization of this vision will require not only the continued leadership of the existing Campaign Committee, but also the fresh ideas, energy, and participation of the entire community.

“Wow! It’s very impressive that [the renovation] was completed so soon after the fundraising goal was reached in May. NCS is a wonderful, supportive community. I wish that all girls had the opportunity to attend a school like NCS.” ~Monina Parker (mother of Breanne Parker ’14)
